Hello Shakers,
The NBA is finally returning, even if we have to wait until Friday for the Rockets to start yet another back-to-back. Why couldn’t they play Thursday/Saturday? Why are almost all their February games back-to-backs? Ask the NBA, I haven’t a clue.
Anyhow, I’m going to wander around the NBA, including the TNT games. The Spurs vs Suns game will have a bit of a funeral feeling to it given Wemby being out for the season, unfortunately. It’s a worrisome problem for him, and I hope all turns out well. I can’t imagine 15 total minutes of basketball in the All Star Games had anything to do with his health problem.
Anyhow, the two TNT games are a bit of a downer (Celtics vs 76ers), but Grizzlies v Pacers, Clippers v Bucks and Lakers v Trailblazers all have some interest to them.
