The Rockets did next to nothing. How does that make you feel?
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NBA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Houston Rockets fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
The Rockets were a total wild card at this year’s NBA Trade Deadline. GM Rafael Stone stated multiple times that he was satisfied with this year’s roster as-is and wanted to see the team grow together. Yet, the Rockets were seemingly tied to just about every player said to be on the market and even some of those that weren’t (Devin Booker).
But in actuality, it turns out Stone wasn’t playing poke face. He acquired Jaden Springer from the Boston Celtics along with two future second round picks in exchange for their own second round pick and a trade exception.
They then released Springer and traded the Atlanta Hawks for Cody Zeller and another second round pick in exchange for the rights to Alpha Kaba and a trade exception.
That’s it.
So what we want to know is, are you satisfied with what basically amounted to a total stand pat for all roster purposes?
We’ll be back soon with the results. Thanks for voting!
