Time to deal or stand pat?
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NBA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Houston Rockets fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
We’re back with this week’s results. We asked you last week if you thought the Rockets should trade or stand pat. The team is playing well — better than most optimists would hev expected at 20-9 and in second place in the west — but there are some concerns that a lack of shooting could keep the Rockets from being much more than a pleasant surprise with a short playoff run. But at the moment, the defense is holding down the fort, and the Rockets are overwhelming teams with athleticism. What’d you have to say about all of that?
So there you have it. A slim majority wants the team to deal, while almost half of you want the team to roll with the dates they brought to the dance. I’m on the side of a deal. While Steven Adams has started to look better of late, the Rockets could still need a backup center. And the shooting problem is obvious. But I think a deal on the fringes would be better than anything major. Still, a dea is a deal.
Thanks for voting, and Merry Christmas from all of us at TDS!
