The last time the Houston Rockets walked into Oklahoma City, Jalen Green had his best game as a pro. As the Thunder employed Lu Dort and sent just about every help defender they could, Green carved up the eventual top seed in the West to the tune of 37 points, including back-to-back scores in overtime to seal the win.
Green didn’t immediately fall off after that game, but the April version of Green left much to be desired. This is a make-or-break season for Green, as he will either get a contract extension from the Rockets or he’ll hit restricted free agency and make considerably less. It’s not a wild claim to say that this season could be worth $150 million to Green, so March Jalen needs to show up in October and November.
Xiane and I will be on Playback for this one. Remember, we can give out 20 passes to watch the game even if you don’t have League Pass or access to Rockets games. Don’t search for an illegal stream when you can just come in, watch legally and for free, and hang out with other Rockets fans. It’ll be fun!
