The Rockets look for their fourth-consecutive victory when they travel to New Orleans
It’s time for the Houston Rockets to get greedy.
When the team lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Cup semifinals, we all looked at the schedule and said, “There’s four games against bad teams then a difficult homestand.” The hope was 4-0, but because the NBA is the NBA, 3-1 felt more likely.
Now, Houston is 3-0 on the trip, with only one game (the annual Toronto Ambush) being close. Houston wraps up this stretch against the team that started it all, the New Orleans Pelicans.
New Orleans is still dealing with lots of injuries, and Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram are both out again. Dejounte Murray and C.J. McCollum are still really good players, and the Pels also feature Herb Jones, Trey Murphy III, and Yves Missi. Jordan Hawkins and Brandon Boston have also given them some good minutes.
We’ll be in the Playback room tonight, so you should come join to watch the Rockets and talk about the game. Remember, we get a handful of VIP passes that we give out to anyone who wants to watch the game. No League Pass necessary!
