The Rockets look to sweep the season series against the Detroit Pistons
As the Houston Rockets hit the halfway point, they turn their attention to finishing strong heading into the All-Star Break. At 28-13, the Rockets are well ahead of the 41.5-win pace that sportsbooks had them in preseason.
Today is an early start time, so it will be interesting to see if either team can play well from the start. The Rockets have historically been poor in these early games, but this group has suprised fans all season.
When these teams play, there are always going to be storylines galore. For one, there’s Cade Cunningham and Jalen Green, the top two picks in the 2021 Draft. Alperen Sengun was also in that draft. Two years later, Amen and Ausar Thompson were taken with the fourth and fifth picks. They’re twins, in case you didn’t know. And there’s also the fact that J.B. Bickerstaff is coaching the Pistons after spending time as Houston’s interim head coach years ago.
We’ll be in the Playback room tonight, so you should come join to watch the Rockets and talk about the game. Remember, we get a handful of VIP passes that we give out to anyone who wants to watch the game. No League Pass necessary!
