The Rockets look to continue their winning ways against Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks
The Houston Rockets are taking their three-game winning streak to Atlanta for a Saturday afternoon matinee against the Hawks.
It’s an early start time and comes basically at the same time as the Houston Texans playoff game against the Los Angeles Chargers. It’s not often that I’m grateful for a road game, but I think Toyota Center would be even less populated than normal.
The Hawks are 19-19 and currently fighting in a tightly-packed Eastern Conference. At the moment, the difference between the four and 11th seed is three losses. The Hawks are coming off a close loss to the Phoenix Suns after winning a thriller in Utah on a halfcourt heave from Trae Young.
The Hawks are 14-6 when Young, Jalen Johnson, and De’Andre Hunter all play and 5-13 when at least one of them is out. Johnson is questionable tonight. The point is that a healthy Hawks squad is a legitimate threat to make a postseason run.
We’ll be in the Playback room tonight, so you should come join to watch the Rockets and talk about the game. Remember, we get a handful of VIP passes that we give out to anyone who wants to watch the game. No League Pass necessary!
