The rivalry (if you want to call it that) between Dillon Brooks and LeBron James is getting renewed in their next game and Brooks had a “warning” from LeBron in the pregame.
Speaking to reporters ahead of tonight’s game between Brooks’ Houston Rockets and LeBron’s Los Angeles Lakers, Brooks declared that he’s ready to lock up LeBron in the game. He said that his plan is to tire LeBron out so that he’s ineffective by the fourth quarter.
“Ready to lock him up. He’s been shooting the ball well, been playing well, so I’m there to make him tired, make him get into that fourth quarter early,” Brooks said.
As you might imagine, fans weren’t buying it and have been trolling Brooks pretty hard since his interview went public:

“Either he not media trained or he just don’t care,” one user replied to Complex Sports.
“Bro last time you said this..you had to find a new team,” wrote another.
“Did he hit his head or something and forget what happened last time?” a third wrote.
Will Brooks make good on his promise, or will LeBron get the better of him yet again?
