Since taking over in 2020, it’s mostly been a failure to launch down in Houston.
Despite stacking some talented young pieces, the Rockets have gone 58-177 with Silas on the sideline and have seemingly stagnated in their development. Prior to the Silas hire, Houston had been in the postseason each of the previous eight seasons. Albeit, with a much better roster led by James Harden and Chris Paul.
Unfortunately, there just hasn’t been the improvement many expected over the past few years. And now one of the more steady franchises in the history of the West is a bit out in the wilderness as they look to take the next step.
