C.J. Stroud wasn’t perfect in Sunday’s win over the Buffalo Bills, but he did enough to secure a 4-1 start.
Stroud connected with Nico Collins for a 67-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter to extend the Houston Texans’ lead by 11 over the Buffalo Bills. When the clock struck zero in a 23-20 win, Stroud had completed 73.7 percent of his passes for 331 yards and a touchdown.
Sunday marked the Second time he went over 300 yards in 2024. Stroud also connected with Stefon Diggs six times for 82 yards and Dare Ogunbowale six times for 57 yards.
“I got to be better and just get through my progressions,” Stroud said postgame. “All in all, you learn with a W, and that’s the most important thing about it.”
