What a great week of football. Each week this column will analyze a player at each position rostered in 50 percent of Yahoo leagues or less. For reference, the threshold used for Wins and Losses in this article will be if the quarterbacks can score at least 17 points, if the tight ends can score at least eight PPR points, and if the rest can score at least 10 PPR points. Here are the Week 4 streamers.

Week 4 Streamers
Quarterback – Jimmy Garoppolo* (LV – 15%) @ LAC
Jimmy Garoppolo certainly doesn’t seem like most people’s preferred choice for streaming quarterbacks. He is, however, coming off a 23.66-point game in which he threw for 324 yards and two scores but also three interceptions. That’s not ideal but if it leads to more dropbacks and yards, we’ll take it. This week Garoppolo gets an even better matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chargers are a dream matchup as they have a great offense and a defense that allows yards and points. That’s the perfect recipe for shootouts. Through three weeks, the Chargers have allowed the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Make sure to monitor the injury reports as Garoppolo was placed in the concussion protocol after the game. If he gets cleared in time to play, he looks like one of the better Week 4 streamers if you’re in a pinch at quarterback.
Honorable Mentions – C.J. Stroud (HOU – 20%) v PIT, Jameis Winston (NO – 0%) v TB
Running Back – De’Von Achane (MIA – 41%) @ BUF
What. A. Game. The Miami Dolphins flat-out stomped the Denver Broncos in this one. They put up 70 points on them and De’Von Achane was one of the stars of the day. Achane has blazing speed but the big question is his size and whether he can hold up. He was able to in college and the hope is that he can in the NFL. The explosiveness is evident after he scored 57.30 fantasy points. That’s not a typo, Achane had 203 rushing yards on 18 carries and chipped in another 30 yards on four receptions. He also scored four touchdowns.
That is also in addition to Raheem Mostert’s monster day as well. The Dolphins have blazing speed at all the skill positions and a coach who knows how to use them. They might be the best offense in the NFL right now. Achane just needs 10-15 touches weekly and he has true “league winner” potential and that makes him one of the best Week 4 streamers out there. Empty your FAAB for this guy.

Honorable Mentions – Matt Breida (NYG – 30%) v SEA, Roschon Johnson (CHI – 48%) v DEN
Wide Receiver – Tank Dell (HOU – 31%) v PIT
This is your last call for Tank Dell. It was possibly understandable not to buy in after one big game last week but with back-to-back big performances, his roster percentage will skyrocket, and rightfully so. There are big question marks with Dell’s size and whether it is sustainable, but like Achane, he’s too explosive to not take the chance.
He saw improvements for a third straight week and has now run at least 82% of the routes for two straight games. Dell finished as WR18 and WR6 in those two weeks. His underlying metrics all back it up as well. His TPRR has been 22% and 27% in the last two weeks. His target share has been 23% and 25% the last two weeks as well.
The Houston Texans seem set on throwing the ball a lot and that’s a nice boost for Dell as well. This week he gets a matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. That’s not necessarily a great matchup but not one to avoid either. Ultimately, this is more about taking a chance on an explosive rookie who is currently playing great more than anything. Again, this is the last call for Dell but for now makes for one of the best Week 4 streamers.

Honorable Mentions – Adam Thielen (CAR – 47%) v MIN, Kendrick Bourne (NE – 33%) @ DAL
Tight End – Luke Musgrave (GB – 18%) v DET
Sam LaPorta is stealing all the headlines among rookie tight ends right now but Luke Musgrave has been quietly solid. There hasn’t been a breakout game yet, but his route participation has been at least 80% in all three games. This past week, Musgrave caught six of his eight targets for 49 yards on his way to a TE9 finish as of this writing. He’s also been between 14% and 19% TPRR all three weeks and between 13% and 19% target share all three weeks as well.
Christian Watson is likely back soon so it will be interesting to see how it affects Musgrave, but assuming he continues to run 80% of the routes, he’s going to be a solid bet each and every week. The Musgrave breakout game could be just around the corner. This week he gets a nice matchup against the Detroit Lions. The Lions are another “carnival” team to target with a good offense but a defense that allows yards and points. They have also allowed the third-most fantasy points to tight ends so far in 2023. Luke Musgrave remains under-rostered and one of the better Week 4 streamers.
Honorable Mentions – Jake Ferguson (DAL – 41%) v NE, Dalton Schultz (HOU – 43%) v PIT
