The Houston Texans have their new play-caller locked in for the 2025 season.
Nick Caley was officially introduced to the local media on Thursday after being hired last week from the Los Angeles Rams. Caley, who spent the past two seasons as the tight ends coach and pass-game coordinator, will replace Bobby Slowik as the full-time play-caller.
Caley has a previous relationship with general manager Nick Caserio from his time with the New England Patriots. He also has a long-standing relationship with new offensive line coach Cole Popovich.
Caley and head coach DeMeco Ryans spent roughly 30 minutes breaking down his path to Houston, the future of the offense and surrounding moves entering the offseason. Watch the press conference below.
Ryans and Caserio will meet with the media next in Indianapolis, Ind. at the NFL Scouting Combine on Febuary 25 and 26.
