Over the weekend, Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was shot at a nightclub in Sanford, Florida. The former third-round pick was unfortunately struck by a stray bullet.
According to multiple reports, 10 people were wounded in this altercation at Cabana Live.
Thankfully, Dell wasn’t seriously injured. He was released from the hospital on Sunday and made his way back to Houston.
“[Dell] has been released from the hospital and he is in good spirits,” the Texans said in a statement. “We are in contact with him and his family and will provide more updates when appropriate but ask that you please respect his privacy at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in the incident.”
Footage of this incident can be found here. We just want to warn you that it might be traumatic to watch.

Roughly 200 people at the nightclub sprinted away from the scene once shots were fired.
The police have already arrested a 16-year-old who was accused of firing first. However, they’re still searching for another person who was involved in this shooting.
“That unknown person could absolutely be justified under Florida’s self-defense laws to pull out a gun and return fire if someone else is firing at them,” Sheriff Dennis Lemma said, via the New York Post.
