Sitting at home and waiting for a phone call to his next job opportunity, legendary NFL coach Bill Belichick had time on his hands in 2024. He spent hours watching football for his roles as an analyst on ESPN’s “Manningcast” to “Inside the NFL” on NFL Network.
The three-time AP Coach of the Year is still regarded as being one of the best talent evaluators in league history. He knows a great player when he sees one, which is exactly what Houston Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. and defensive end Danielle Hunter are after a breakout 2024 season.
Belichick released his 2024 All-Belichick Team on Instagram (yes, seriously) recently and Stingley made the cut for a starting spot at cornerback. Meanwhile, Hunter was listed as a reserve edge rusher, along with former Texans starter Jonathan Greenard, Myles Garrett, Trey Hendrickson and reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year Jared Verse.
Here’s a look at the coach’s complete 2024 All-Belichick Team.

Hunter led Houston with 11.5 sacks and ranked top 10 in tackles for loss (18) and QB hits (41). Stingley, who earned All-Pro status, finished second in pass deflections (18) and top five in interceptions (5).
The Texans, who finished 11-8 including the playoffs, will select No. 25 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.
