If you thought the Memphis Grizzlies’ injury report yesterday was wild then the Houston Texans are here today to hold your beer.
On Wednesday, the Texans added a whopping 23 out of 53 active players to their injury report. 11 players were listed as not practicing with various injuries while another seven were limited.
Among those not practicing are first-round pick Will Anderson, starting running back Dameon Pierce, offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil and wide receiver Robert Woods. Their list of limited players includes Derek Stingley Jr. and wide receiver Nico Collins.
All told, that’s a full third of the roster that is either not practicing or limited in practice and more than 40-percent of players nursing injuries.

The Houston Texans have quietly been putting together some good results lately. Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud has looked like a rising star and has led the team to a 4-2 record over their last six games and now has them two games behind the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC South race.
How many of the injured players are going to outright miss their upcoming game against the Cincinnati Bengals?
The game will be played on Sunday at 1 p.m. and will air on CBS.
