The Houston Texans head north to U.S. Bank Stadium to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3 in what could be the best matchup of the early window. Both teams are sitting at 2-0 and the Texans are looking to secure their best start since 2012.
Houston secured a 19-13 win last week at home against the Bears. Minnesota, headlined by former first-round pick Sam Darnold and All-Pro receiver Justin Jefferson, connected for over 100 yards in a 23-17 victory over the 49ers.
The Texans have standout quarterback C.J. Stroud calling the shot, plus a supporting cast of Pro Bowl-caliber talent at receiver, including former Vikings star Stefon Diggs. Running back Joe Mixon, however, is out with an ankle injury, meaning Houston must turn Cam Akers for the first time as the top option.
