The Houston Texans improved to 7-4 following a 34-10 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on ‘Monday Night Football.’ Mixon, who’s well on his way to another 1,000-yard season, rushed for 109 yards and scored three touchdowns, including the game-sealing 2-yard score just before the two-minute warning.
While the Texans didn’t score in the third quarter, they ended their four-game drought of not putting up a touchdown in the second half. Derek Barnett picked up a fumble for a 28-yard scoop-and-score at the start of the fourth quarter
Houston also ended its two-game losing streak with the victory in Arlington. Vibes are great heading into a two-game AFC South divisional showdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans starting on Sunday. Monday also marked the most points scored since Week 6’s win over the New England Patriots.
