The Texans won’t have rookie defensive end Dylan Horton at their disposal for this Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.
On Wednesday, the Texans announced that Horton will be out for an indefinite period of time to take care of a personal health matter.
Horton, a fourth-round pick from TCU, issued a statement on his current situation.
“I’m currently dealing with a personal health matter that will keep me away from the team for an indefinite period of time,” Horton said. “I want to thank my family, my teammates and the entire Houston Texans organization for the support and care they have already provided me. I will provide updates from time to time, but my main focus right now is on my health and recovery. Thank you and God bless.”

In 10 games this season, Horton has 13 tackles, two quarterback hits and a fumble recovery.
Hopefully, Horton takes care of his personal issue. In the meantime, the Texans will lean heavily on Will Anderson Jr. and Jonathan Greenard.
