The Houston Texans provided a first glimpse of their new uniforms for the 2024 season.
Amid a supposed leaked photo circulating online, Texans CEO Cal McNair shared a real picture of wide receivers Nico Collins and Tank Dell modeling the new attire on Reddit. The team posted the photo on X.

The Texans have worn the same primary uniforms since joining the NFL as an expansion franchise in 2002. They introduced a “Battle Red” jersey the following year.
Houston has donned a steel blue at home and “Liberty White” on the road. Unlike past attire, these new white jerseys are accompanied by black pants and jersey numbers.
The shoulder and collar stripes also appear black rather than a darker blue.
The Texans promised more information about the uniforms in April. Texans TV host Drew Dougherty previously wrote on the team site that they’re expected to officially unveil the new uniforms during the NFL Draft, which starts on April 25.
Dougherty said the Texans will incorporate an H-Town Blue design in line with the Houston Oilers, but it won’t be a primary color. The Tennessee Titans caused controversy by wearing Oilers throwbacks in a game against Houston last season.
Regardless of how they look, the Texans will enter 2024 with high hopes after making the playoffs in their first season under head coach DeMeco Ryans and quarterback C.J. Stroud. They’ve added star pass rusher Danielle Hunter during a busy offseason.
