The Houston Texans need a number of positions in this weekend’s NFL Draft, but which need is the biggest?
The 2024 NFL Draft kicks off tonight, and while the Houston Texans aren’t expected to make a pick until tomorrow, they are eagerly looking at tonight’s results in order to better prepare for the later rounds.
Last year, the Texans drafted C.J. Stroud with the No. 2 overall pick, and he appears to have the chance to become the franchise quarterback for many years to come. The team doesn’t have a solidified answer for a backup quarterback, but only 32 percent of surveyors believe that the team will draft a backup for Stroud.
Quarterback certainly isn’t the team’s biggest need, but they still have a couple of positions they need to upgrade. Just over half of surveyors believe cornerback is the team’s biggest need, followed by pass rush (18 percent) and offensive line (16 percent).
