Sunday was a rough day for the Texans and it was made even worse by C.J. Stroud’s head injury.
After the loss, DeMeco Ryans offered an update on the status of his QB moving forward. Telling, “We’ll see how he progresses throughout the week,” Ryans told SportsTalk 790’s Adam Wexler.

Stroud slammed his head into the ground after taking a hit from Jets defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and didn’t return to the game after being evaluated for a concussion.
After the game, Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans confirmed that the rookie is in the protocol. Houston also saw Will Anderson, Nico Collins, Blake Cashman, and Tavierre Thomas leave the game with injuries as they suffered their second loss in three games.
It’s been a tough string of injury luck for the team as a whole, especially with Tank Dell’s season-ending broken fibula in last week’s win.
There’ll be a lot to keep an eye on if you’re a Texans fan moving forward.
