The Houston Texans are ready to go for the 2025 season.
Well, at least on the coaching side things are finalized.
The Texans announced their 2025 coaching staff Friday morning, thus signaling a new era on offense with the arrival of Los Angeles Rams tight ends coach Nick Caley as the team’s new offensive coordinator.
Caley’s arrival is expected to help Houston’s offense take the next step forward under C.J. Stroud in a critical Year 3. Last season, the reigning offensive rookie of the year finished with career lows in nearly every category while throwing a career-high 12 interceptions.
On top of Caley’s addition, the Texans also hired Toledo’s Frank Okam as the new assistant defensive line coach and Jerry Schuplinnksi as the team’s pass game specialist/senior offensive assistant.
