Stefon Diggs may no longer be in Buffalo but the subliminals keep coming.
After being traded to the Houston Texans last week, the star receiver appeared to take a shot at Bills Mafia on social media by liking a post that said: “Bills lowkey got the worse fanbase y’all bitter asf in the comments.”
Diggs was dealt to last year’s AFC South champs in a blockbuster deal that returned a 2025 second-round pick to Buffalo and sent the four-time Pro Bowler, a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 fifth-round pick to Houston.
Diggs’ trade was the inevitable conclusion of two dramatic offseasons that saw the Bills wideout rift with Josh Allen, not show up to mandatory training camp and throw out cryptic tweets about his teammates and the franchise.
It also didn’t help that the 30-year-old’s production dropped off a cliff after the first six games of last year; not recording another 100-yard receiving game the rest of the season and only catching three more touchdowns.
Diggs set the world on fire when he first arrived in Buffalo, putting up some of the best numbers of his career. In 2020, the ex-Minnesota Viking caught 127 passes for 1,535 yards and eight scores and followed that up with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons with double-digit TDs.
Now he’ll attempt to make the third act as productive as his second — minus the frustration of the last two years.
