The Houston Texans need to keep winning ways alive over the next two weeks before the bye.
Why? An AFC South title could be won before fans have to start Christmas shopping.
Houston returns home to take on a struggling Tennessee Titans roster in a battle for bragging rights in the AFC South. The Texans are getting healthy at the right time with wide receiver Nico Collins and defensive end Will Anderson Jr. returning to practice.
The Titans, who could fall below .500 for the third consecutive season with a loss, need a win for morale purposes entering December.
With a victory, the Texans would improve to 4-0 in the AFC South for 2024. Since the Indianapolis Colts can still win the AFC South, Houston can’t clinch the division in victory, but it would set up a potential clinching scenario in Week 13 when the Texans travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars.
Here’s how the Texans and Titans stack up statistically ahead of Monday’s matchup.
