The Houston Texans season if officially underway.
Well, at leat that’s what DeMeco Ryans said following a 23-14 win over the Tennessee Titans to close out the regular season.
Houston heads home to take on the Los Angeles Chargers in the wild-card round, with a chance to advance to a third divisional bout in five years. The Bolts are riding a three-game win streak and feature an explosive offense headlined by quarterback Justin Herbert and rookie receiver Ladd McConkey.
“He’s really good. He’s got every throw, he’s smart,” Texans defensive coordinator Matt Burke said Wednesday. “They keep you at the line. He’ll double cadence, he’ll hold it, try to get you looks. Again, arm talent can get out of the pocket, can make plays on the run.”
