The Rams play a home game on the road.
Needless to say, it’s been a rough couple of weeks for the city of Los Angeles.
The winds have kicked up huge wildfires which have forced thousands of Los Angelenos to seek shelter as everything they’re forced to helplessly watch everything they own get destroyed.
The Los Angeles Chargers got pants by your Houston Texans on Saturday.
And, last but probably least, the Los Angeles Rams have to play a home game in Arizona.
It’s been rough. Mostly because of the fires, for which I think I speak for all of us when I say our hearts go out to everyone affected by the wildfires. And thank you to all the fire fighters from across the country, as well as Mexico and Canada, and the incarcerated fire fighters who are all putting their lives on the line to fight this natural disaster.
Personally, I find it kind of weird that the Los Angeles football team has to play their home playoff game in a stadium named for an insurance company that canceled thousands of fire insurance policies before the wildfires started. Wonder if State Farm might want to address that. Probably not.
Football seems kind of trivial compared to all that. But here we are anyway.
