It’s two games for the price of one! Sure you didn’t pay, but never mind that!
To close out Week 7, the schedulers at the NFL have given us yet another twin bill for our viewing…pleasure doesn’t seem like the right word; viewing possibility? Eh, I’ll workshop it later.
Let’s take a look at the game we have behind door number one. One is from the east coast whose name is taken from a poem by a man who mostly wrote about death, the other hails from a wacky town in west Florida known for selling corn at extremely low prices.
It’s the Baltimore Ravens at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Buck an ear, get it? Sigh, everyone’s a critic).
Who: Baltimore Ravens (4-2) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-2)
What: Monday Night Football
Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa Bay, FL
When: Monday October 21, 7:15 pm CDT
Why: Because it might be a kinda good game, for a change.
Channel: ESPN
And behind curtain number two, one is a team who has called more cities home than they have been in Super Bowls and the other is the Arizona Cardinals. Sorry, they can’t all be winners. It’s the Los Angeles Chargers of San Diego vs. the Arizona Cardinals.
Who: Los Angeles Chargers (3-2) at Arizona Cardinals (2-4)
What: Monday Night Football
Where: State Farm Stadium, Glendale, AZ
When: Monday October 21, 8:00 pm CDT
Why: Because without it, it wouldn’t be a double feature.
Channel: ESPN
And if you feel like making a little wager on tonight’s game at FanDuel Sportsbook, here are my picks, for what that’s worth.
Enjoy the games, y’all.
Go Texans!
