Why stop at one Monday night game when we could put two games on instead?!
Let’s close out this miserable week of football with a pair of Monday night games.
First, in the early card, we have kind of a grab bag of teams, a team that’s expected to make a playoff run again this year and the Jacksonville Jaguars. To start off tonight’s fireworks, we go to upstate New York (on purpose!) to watch the Jacksonville Jaguars on display in front of the Bills Mafia and the Buffalo Bills, not necessarily in that order.
Who: Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2) vs. Buffalo Bills (2-0)
What: Monday Night Football (undercard??)
Where: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY
When: Monday September 23, 6:30 pm CDT
Why: Shoot, I don’t know, because Trevor Lawrence might do something accidentally funny.
Channel: ESPN (CBS for local markets)
And behind curtain number two, we have the last two teams who haven’t played this week. That would be the ::checks notes:: the Cincinnati Bengals, eh, that’s not so bad, against, ugh, the Washington Commanders.
The Commanders travel up the Ohio river to Cincitucky to close out the night against the Bengals at home.
Who: Washington Commanders (1-1) at Cincinnati Bengals (0-2)
What: Monday Night Football (the main event?? I guess??)
Where: Paycor Stadium, Cincinnati, OH
Why: Because it may be a diet spit-flavored matchup, but it’s still football! Technically!
Channel: ESPN
And if you feel like making a little wager on tonight’s game at FanDuel Sportsbook, here are my picks, for what that’s worth.
No, I still don’t want to talk about Sunday’s game.
Enjoy the game, y’all.
Let’s Go Texans!
