The Houston Texans have been the talk of tonight’s NFL Draft so far.
After taking Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud with the second overall pick, the Texans traded back up to No. 3 to land Alabama pass rusher Will Anderson.
Houston surrendered a lot of draft capital to move up, but ESPN’s Dianna Russini said a team source told her they “fooled the world.”
“Just texted with a source in Houston ‘fooled the world!’ Obviously they are thrilled,” Russini tweeted.
Obviously, the Texans are quite comfortable with what they did.

Houston’s big trade isn’t the only blockbuster we’ve seen so far tonight.
The Cardinals then used the No. 12 pick they received from the Texans to move up to sixth overall and draft Ohio State left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. Philadelphia also just moved up one spot to No. 9, exchanging picks with the Chicago Bears.
Expect more wheeling and dealing as the night unfolds.
