Houston Texans final injury report.
The (5-1) Houston Texans are red-hot and looking to take down the (4-2) Packers in Green Bay.
Houston is coming off a dominant 40-point win over the Patriots and the Packers are also coming off a 34-point win over the Cardinals.
Here is a look at the final injury report:
DID NOT PARTICIPATE:
- Cornerback Kamari Lassiter (Shoulder) OUT
- Safety Jimmie Ward (Groin) OUT
- Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (Knee) OUT
- Linebacker Henry To’oTo’o (Concussion) OUT
- Wide Receiver Robert Woods (Foot) OUT
- Wide Receiver Steven Sims (Back) OUT
LIMITED PARTICIPATION:
- Defensive Tackle Folorunso Fatukasi (Shoulder) QUESTIONABLE
FULL PARTICIPATION:
- Left Tackle Laremy Tunsil (Ankle)
- Running Back Joe Mixon (Ankle)
- Linebacker Del’shawn Phillips (Hip)
The Texans are set to be without their top-three linebackers on Sunday, therefore you should expect to see a lot of Neville Hewitt and Jake Hansen.
As far as the safety position goes, rookie Calen Bullock and veteran Eric Murray have been playing a lot with the absence of Jimmie Ward. Bullock continues to impress and Murray has also made plays, but has given up several touchdowns in the process.
The defense will also be without their impressive rookie cornerback in Kamari Lassiter, who could miss a few more weeks, according to NFL Reporter Aaron Wilson. Last week, D’Angelo Ross stepped up for Lassiter and played extremely well, but the Packers are not the Patriots.
Houston is severely beat up on both sides of the ball, but a win in Green Bay would be massive for a franchise that hopes to seriously contend in 2024.
