Receiver expected to make a full recovery
2nd year Houston Texans speedster Tank Dell was allegedly in the wrong place at the wrong time last night as gunfire erupted outside a Miami night club. Dell, a Florida native, was simply caught up in yet another of our nation’s mass shootings that have hallmarked the 21st century.
Dell, 1 of 10 people reportedly shot outside the club, was not seriously injured and has been released from the hospital already.
Officials from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said that a 16-year-old boy is accused of shooting the 10 people at Cabana Live, an event venue and restaurant located at 4380 Carraway Place in Sanford.
Dell played football at Daytona Beach’s Mainland High School before playing in college and eventually being drafted by the Texans.

While no further details on the extent or location of the wound are readily available, more information will likely come to light over the next few days.
Hopefully Dell is as fast at recovering for gunshot wounds as he is recovering from the fractured fibula he sustained against the Denver Broncos in week 13 of last season.
C.J. Stroud and Dell developed a strong chemistry early last year and all of Houston would love to see that chemistry continue to build and lead to more yards, more first downs, more touchdowns and more wins.
Godspeed Tank!
