It’s been a week since the Houston Texans fired offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik and offensive line coach Chris Strausser. Since then, it’s been a madhouse.
The Texans have gone out of their way to bring in ample candidates for interviews to fill the vacancy and work with C.J. Stroud heading into Year 3 of DeMeco Ryans’ era. One of the must-have points is a relationship with Stroud, who struggled to duplicate his 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year magic last fall under Slowik’s play-calling.
