The Houston Texans are set to play the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional round this Saturday.
It will be the second time these two teams have faced one another this season after the Ravens crushed the Texans in Week 1, 25-9.
Since then, the Texans have been a completely different team and come into this game with a lot of confidence. Quarterback C.J. Stroud has noticed the differences in a variety of ways and is ready to face the Ravens again.
“I think we’ve grown in a multitude of areas,” Stroud said, via ProFootballTalk. “I think at that point, we weren’t really identified as who we are now, and we’ve grown in a lot of aspects. A lot more experience up front now, both offensively, defensively, and special teams, so I think we’ve grown in a lot of places.”
Stroud has also been on another level since that loss to the Ravens. Since that game, he has thrown for over 4,000 yards and 23 touchdowns while completing nearly 64% of his passes.
He’ll have to keep playing at this level if the Texans want to pull off the upset.
Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET on ESPN/ABC.
