Former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud is off to a great start with the Houston Texans.
Stroud, who was picked second overall by the Texans in the 2023 NFL Draft, has impressed a lot of his teammates and coaches so far, per Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated.
“Nothing’s looked too big for Stroud, which makes sense, given the stage at Ohio State; he’s shown a high aptitude and isn’t starting from zero when it comes to playing in a pro-style offense. And the coaches and front-office folks have seen other players, even the vets, gravitating toward Stroud, who’s easygoing and comfortable as a leader,” Breer wrote.

Stroud is expected to start for the Texans this upcoming season after he had a tremendous career at Ohio State. In two seasons, he finished with 8,123 yards, 85 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
He’s ready to prove his doubters wrong when the season starts in September.
