The Houston Texans are continuing to add to their secondary with USC safety Calen Bullock.
The Houston Texans didn’t want to risk their next player falling to them at No. 86. That’s why they traded up eight spots and sacrificed a fourth-round pick to select USC defensive back Calen Bullock.
Here are the full terms of the trade, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter:
Texans traded picks No. 86 and No. 123 for the Eagles No. 78. Houston’s up.
The Eagles acquired the No. 78 pick in a trade earlier in the draft with the Washington Commanders, but now the pick is in the Texans’ hands.
Bullock recorded 63 tackles and recorded two interceptions in 12 games last season with the Trojans, giving the team a ballhawk for the defense. Bullock joins Georgia cornerback Kamari Lassiter and Notre Dame offensive lineman Blake Fisher in the Texans’ 2024 draft class.
