Blake Fisher is the Houston Texans’ second pick in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Houston Texans are back on the clock in the second round, and they are continuing to add to their rookie class.
With the No. 59 overall pick, the Texans selected Notre Dame offensive tackle Blake Fisher.
Fisher stands 6-6 and weighs 330 pounds, and he started his career at Notre Dame playing left tackle. However, after he was injured in the 2021 season, he returned the following year on the right side. His size gives him flexibility to play both inside and out, which is something the Texans have appreciated in their offensive linemen.
With Laremy Tunsil and Tytus Howard already at each tackle, there’s a good chance the team could move Fisher to guard and allow him to play alongside the former first-round picks.
