Have a Sunday, huh?
According to David Purham of ESPN.com, this weekend saw a Florida bettor hit on a massive $5.5 million parlay thanks in part to Matt Amendola’s 38-yard walk-off field goal to give the Houston Texans a 30-27 win over the Bengals.
The four legs of the same-game parlay were reportedly:
- The Houston Texans to beat the Cincinnati Bengals
- The Texans-Bengals to go over 44.5 points
- Texans running back Devin Singletary to score a touchdown
- Singletary to go over 51.5 rushing yards

The bet was placed at the newly reopened Hard Rock sportsbook which had previously been closed for two years while a legal battle played out that reached as high as the Supreme Court.
It seems like every year we see one of these insane payouts which speaks to the hold sports betting culture has taken on the wider sports-watching audience.
Last week, another bettor placed two bets worth $1,546,000 on one-win Kent State against Bowling Green.
