Every win counts for the Houston Texans, but this would be a big one.
The Texans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium in a clash of opponents who called Houston home at a point in history. With a win, Houston would move to 4-1 in the AFC South, thus leading to strong vibes heading into Week 14’s bye.
Houston (7-5) returned to its losing ways following a 32-27 defeat against the Tennessee Titans in Week 12. Early success followed by late struggles catapulted the Texans to a slow second half, thus giving Will Levis a signature win in 2024.
The Jaguars (2-9) remain lost entering Week 13. Doug Pederson is on life support as Jacksonville inches closer to securing the No. 1 overall pick in April’s draft. Trevor Lawrence’s status remains in question after the bye week, and could be out for another game. Houston is also on a six-game winning streak when playing against the Jaguars away from NRG Stadium, dating back to 2018.
