Every year, there’s one game where injuries compile for the Houston Texans and lead to a loss.
That came Sunday against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Houston was without five defensive starters, but the offense produced the second-lowest output of the C.J. Stroud era and fell 24-22.
The loss drops Houston to 5-2, with both losses coming against NFC North foes on the road. Around the AFC South, Indianapolis won a slugfest against Miami and improved to 4-3, narrowing Houston’s divisional lead to one game.
The Texans could secure the season sweep over the Colts next week lead next week when they return to NRG Stadium at noon. Before that, here’s five takeaways from Houston’s loss to Green Bay.
