There’s no shortage of teams in need for a quarterback, but according to longtime NFL writer Peter King, four teams have no interest in getting into the Aaron Rodgers business.
Writing in his latest Football Morning In America column, King reported that neither the Texans, Colts, Raiders or Panthers “wants to scotch-tape a veteran like 39-year-old Aaron Rodgers and probably not Derek Carr.”
The Raiders are clearly done with Carr after choosing to release him earlier this month, but it may come as a bit of a surprise to hear that they don’t plan on making a reuniting Davante Adams with his former four-time MVP QB in silver and black.
That leaves the Jets as the team to watch when it comes to Aaron Rodgers and his future, as they’ve expressed the most interest in him this offseason.
Rodgers’ former offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett is in place in New York, so there’s some familiarity there. But the Titans have also emerged as a team to keep an eye on.
