The Cyclones improve to 1-1 in the Big 12 after dropping a tough road game to No. 11 Oklahoma last Friday.
Houston picks up its first loss in their Big 12 career after they routed West Virginia last Friday. Baylor transfer LJ Cryer dropped a game-high 20 points for the Cougars.
Iowa State hosts Oklahoma State on Friday while Houston travels to TCU.
