Watch list season is almost the season season
Two of the more significant injuries the 2023 Texas A&M team suffered were the losses of QB Conner Weigman to a broken ankle in game four and TE Donovan Green to a torn ACL in fall camp. Both players could play a pivotal role in a potenial Aggie rebound in 2024, and as such, have been named to the Comeback Player of the Year preseason watch list.

Both players were a member of the Aggies’ 2022 recruiting class and earned starting roles by the end of their freshman season. If they can return stay healthy and maximize their potential, it would go a long way in helping the Ags get back to national relevance for the first time since 2020.
