Aggies further bolster their 2024 offensive line
If you thought you had a good feel for what Texas A&M’s offensive line would look like this fall, scrap it. The Aggies went into the portal on Saturday and added a Power 5 starting center, securing a commitment from Utah’s Koli Faaiu.
Former Utah center Koli Faaiu is set to commit to Texas A&M, his agent Alex Beglinger (@Agent_Big_Al) of Disruptive Sports (@disruptivesport) tells ESPN. He played in 11 games for the Utes last year, starting the final nine.

Faaiu was a member of Utah’s 2021 recruiting class, and started the final nine games of the Utes season at center. His addition seems to signal trouble for Bryce Foster, who yet again missed spring football while he participates in track as a shotput thrower. While all signs indicate that Foster will be back with the team in the summer/fall, the addition of Faaiu certainly indicates that his starting role is not assured. The Aggies likely don’t pursue Faaiu (and he likely doesn’t commit here) unless he has the potential to garner significant playing time. He was scheduled to also visit Washington and Oklahoma, but appears to have shut down his commitment while in Aggieland.
The addition of Faaui gives the Aggies a whopping 25 transfer additions since the end of last season (though he is only the second of the spring portal window, joining UCF edge Josh Celiscar).
