Early kick on national TV
An 11 a.m. kickoff time had already been announced for the game against Mizzou, but the SEC released on Monday that the Aggies and Tigers will square off on ABC on Saturday, Oct. 5. Mizzou (4-0) came in at No. 11 in the latest AP Poll and gets a week off before heading to Kyle Field.

The Tigers received a lot of love this preseason due to their 11-2 campaign in 2023 and the fact that they return a capable QB in Brady Cook and one of the best players in the country in WR Luther Burden III. Though they are undefeated, they needed two overtimes to escape Vanderbilt at home just a few days ago and also needed a comeback to take down Boston College the week before.
Both of these teams probably feel like they could play better, so this is a very interesting matchup that could be act as a momentum-builder for the victor. That’s especially true of the Aggies, who will have a bye the following week.
