Another massive defensive addition for Mike Elko’s squad
There’s no such thing as too many blue chip defensive linemen. That’s why Texas A&M just added their third one in this class (and the highest-rated of the bunch) with the commitment of Bellville DL DJ Sanders on Wednesday night.

Sanders is 6’4”, 290 pounds, and is ranked as the No. 88 player in the country, the No. 17 player in Texas and the No. 10 defensive lineman, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He chose the Aggies over Texas and Michigan, among many other offers.
He joins four-star DL Landon Rink and four-star edge Marco Jones as the front four centerpieces of the Aggies’ 2025 recruiting class, which also includes six other blue chip defenders. The commitment moves the Aggies class up to No. 6 nationally, just ahead of Oregon.
