Spring football, pro day dates also announced
College football spring games are no longer a foregone conclusion, with schools like USC, Nebraska and Texas already canceling theirs, but it seems Texas A&M will indeed still host a traditional spring football game in 2025. As reported by The Eagle’s Alex Miller, the Maroon & White game will be played at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 19.
Texas A&M football has some important dates set:
– Start of spring practice is March 20
– Pro day is March 27
– Spring game is April 19 at 2 p.m.https://t.co/VR2aLEK3Zk— Alex Miller (@AlexMill20) February 27, 2025
In addition to the spring game, it was also announced that spring practice will begin on Thursday, March 20, and the team’s pro day (for players entering the NFL Draft) will be Thursday, March 27.
The Aggies finished 8-5 in Head Coach Mike Elko’s first season, but finished with the No. 9 high school recruiting class, the No. 10 transfer class, and is No. 6 nationally in returning production. While there is no guarantee that talent and experience will translate into success, the Aggies appear to have the ingredients to take a step forward in this coaching staff’s second season.
