The Aggies were also ranked No. 20 in the preseason Coaches Poll, which was release last week.
A&M is no stranger to being ranked in preseason polls, but unfortunately has not been ranked in the AP Top 25 at season’s end since the 2020 season that saw them finish at No. 4 in country. But with a new staff brings new optimism, and fans will find out quickly whether this team merits that optimism as they take on No. 7 Notre Dame in just 19 days.
