OL depth just got a little thinner
Texas A&M suffered another transfer portal loss on Wednesday, as underclassman OL Colton Thomasson announced his plans to enter the portal.

Thomasson was a four-star offensive lineman in the 2023 recruiting class, and still has four years of eligibility remaining. While it did not appear he was in line for significant snaps in 2024, he was young enough that it certainly seemed like had time to develop and become an important piece of this roster. But in modern college football, patience is not a virtue (and that is not exclusive to players).
The Aggies now have 12 scholarship offensive linemen on the current roster after seeing four players leave via the portal thus far in the spring window (Derrick Graham, Dorian Hinton, Bryce Foster Thomasson). They’ll also welcome transfer center Koli Faaiu and incoming freshmen Isendre Ahfua and Robert Bourdon this summer.
