Layden makes it three Aggies drafted so far
Layden Robinson didn’t have to wait long to hear his name called on Day 3 as the New England Patriots selected him with the third selection of the day at the 103rd overall pick. Robinson is the third Aggie to be selected this year.

The Manvel, TX product started 33 games for the Aggies in his career, earning Second Team All-SEC in 2021. In 2022, Robinson won the Toughness Award and the Offensive Aggie Award for strength and conditioning. He helped pave the way RB Devon Achane to reach 1,000 yards rushing in 2022 as well.
Robinson is physically ready for the NFL, but should be able to further develop his quickness and technique for a year or two before the Patriots need him to start.
