The redshirt-junior from Covington, LA was a standout throughout his career for the Aggies, but took his game to a higher level in 2023. Cooper recorded a league-leading 17 TFLs in 2023 and led Texas A&M in sacks with 8. He was rewarded for his stellar level of play by being named First Team All-America by multiple outlets, including the Associated Press, the Walter Camp Football Foundation, ESPN, CBS, and The Athletic.
Linebacker was a huge need for Green Bay, so Cooper should push to start right away. The Packers will look to pair him with former first round pick and Georgia linebacker Quay Walker.
Congratulations, Coop!
